Trackmania is a racing game made by Nadeo, A French developer. I have taken the games editor and made a number of tracks for general play and host them on my own server. __The server is currnetly Down Because of poor internet service__ Here are some video examples of my maps.
Castle of Doom! One of the oldest maps on my server Castle of Doom has undergone several revisions including a scenery swap out and various shortcut fixes and is now considered to be air tight! It�s a long standing classic.
Collision This map is kind of a feather in my cap, it contains a single straightaway with a turnaround at each end. The players will need to make three successful passes though the straightaway to finish, each time performing a separate set of jumps! It sounds a lot harder than it is but due to careful design most players wont have any trouble after a try or two. Each pass they make is completely unique.
Field Day Originally I designed this map intending to use a lot more grass but it interrupted flow so I revamped it to include a variety of surface types to really give players a feeling of freshness from start to finish.
Fragmentation This track is supposed to feel like its coming apart all around the player. They will drive places you almost never drive in other maps and perform jumps and turns that are not commonplace in normal TM maps either. Everything from the scenery to the music to the track itself is designed to drive that point home.
Hadron This map was inspired by the LHC. In Trackmania the majority of tracks that give you options do so only because both sides are identical. In this map choosing your path at the start will put you either forward or backward on the track! Go head to head quite literally. One of the obstacles I encountered in making this track was that the checkpoints put the player only one way. So let�s assume here for example purposes if I say ) it faces the player this way ---> In the map I placed the checkpoints as such... () so when they pass though them ---()---> and reset they will reset the right way no matter which direction they were going originally it will reset them facing the same.
Invasion This time I took the blocks that come in the editor and built a giant box preventing the players from seeing the stadium environment. This also isolates the player from normal light sources creating a true night scenario. I took lighting pieces to create UFO's and blocks to build buildings and created a city being invaded by aliens! The track is a mix of flight path type sections and highway parts to give a feeling of both fleeing and fighting the Invasion.
Iron Ram This is an example of a mirror map. Iron ram is also a little special in that it weaves in and out of its mirror, making it a unique experience.
Pirates Using just the models that come with the base game (as I do with all my maps) I built Trackmania's first Pirate Ship! You race from the nose across the deck, down inside and out one of the cannon ports onto the beach.
Moon Beam This is a sequel map to the above Field Day, this map is targeted at more hardcore gamers and is an example of a Speed Map.
